The 5 Levels of Kitchen Remodeling
Level 1: The Designer Facelift $10,000-25,000
The Refresh: High Impact, Low Construction
This level is perfect for homeowners who love their kitchen’s current layout but want to erase years of wear and tear. We focus on "surface-level" transformations that provide a modern aesthetic without the timeline or price tag of a full gut-job.
Cabinetry
We maintain your existing cabinet boxes and doors, professionally renewing or painting them for a "like-new" finish. We fill old hardware holes to allow for a fresh layout of modern pulls and knobs.
Countertops
We upgrade your surfaces to Tier 1 Granite or finished Butcher Block, providing a durable, high-quality workspace that feels premium without the luxury price point.
Backsplash
A new focal point is created using quality builder-grade tiles, such as classic ceramic or porcelain subway tiles, to brighten the space and protect your walls.
Appliances
To keep costs transparent and streamlined, we coordinate with your Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) purchases, allowing you to take advantage of their direct delivery and professional installation services.
Level 2: The Functional Refresh $30,000-$50,000
Upgrade: Modern Style & Enhanced Performance
Level 2 is designed for homeowners who want to change the "vibe" of their kitchen more significantly than a paint job allows. By refacing the cabinetry and introducing specialized lighting, we improve both the style and the daily usability of the space.
Cabinetry (Refacing)
We keep your sturdy original oak boxes but replace all doors and drawer fronts with a modern door style (such as Shaker or Slab). During this process, we integrate soft-close hinges and glides where possible to give your kitchen a premium, quiet feel.
Countertops
We step up the durability and design with Tier 2 Natural Stone or Tier 1 Quartz, offering a wider variety of colors and patterns with lower maintenance requirements.
Lighting
We enhance the workspace by installing under-cabinet LED lighting for better task visibility and swapping out dated ceiling or pendant fixtures for modern, energy-efficient alternatives.
Backsplash & Appliances
Like Level 1, we continue to utilize high-quality porcelain or ceramic tiles and coordinate with your NFM appliance delivery for a seamless transition.
Level 3: The Kitchen Reimagined $30,000-70,000
The Full Remodel: New Foundations & Optimized Layouts
Level 3 is a comprehensive "gut" renovation. This tier is for the homeowner who wants to start fresh, moving beyond the limitations of their old cabinetry and floor plan to create a kitchen that is custom-tailored to their lifestyle.
Cabinetry
We replace your old units with high-quality semi-custom cabinetry. These features durable birch boxes and a factory-applied finish for a furniture-grade look that is far more resilient than on-site paint.
Layout & Flow
This level allows for minor layout optimizations. Whether it’s extending a countertop to create a breakfast bar or relocating an appliance to improve the "work triangle," we rethink the footprint to maximize efficiency.
Flooring
We ground the new design with high-performance flooring options. Choose from Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP), modern laminates, or pre-finished hardwoods to create a seamless look that flows into the rest of your home.
Fixtures & Sinks
We upgrade your prep area with undermount sinks and high-end designer faucets, providing a sleek, easy-to-clean transition between your countertops and basin.
Level 4: The Elite Kitchen $75,000-150,000
The Structural Shift: Luxury Meets Engineering
Level 4 is for homeowners who want a "magazine-ready" kitchen that functions as the true heart of the home. This tier focuses on structural optimization, high-end storage solutions, and premium materials that make a bold architectural statement.
Cabinetry
Experience the best of both worlds with a blend of full-custom and high-end semi-custom cabinetry. This often includes a bespoke custom island paired with "tricked-out" perimeter cabinets featuring internal organizers, pull-out spice racks, and specialized carousels. Choose between flawless paint-grade custom finishes or rich, natural wood species.
Structural Changes
We break boundaries by removing non-load-bearing walls to create an open-concept flow or by building out walk-in pantries to maximize your storage capacity and keep clutter off the counters.
Countertops
We elevate the aesthetic with Exotic Stones or Tier 3+ Quartz. These slabs often feature complex, dramatic veining and can be finished with luxury details like waterfall edges on the island.
Specialized Appliances
While maintaining the convenience of high-end slide-in units, we introduce integrated elements such as custom-vented hoods and built-in island microwaves to create a streamlined, professional look.
Level 5: The Bespoke Masterpiece $100,000+
The Architectural Statement: No Compromise, Total Customization
Level 5 is our highest tier of service, representing a total reimagining of your home’s interior. This is a "down to the studs and beyond" transformation where we move walls, windows, and utilities to create a one-of-a-kind culinary estate. If you can dream it, we build it.
Cabinetry
We install 100% full-custom, hand-crafted cabinetry using premium wood species like Walnut or Rift Sawn White Oak. Every inch is optimized with integrated interior drawer lighting, appliance garages with pocket doors, and "secret" pantry entrances that blend seamlessly into the cabinetry runs.
Structural Engineering
We take a "blank canvas" approach. This may involve relocating load-bearing walls, changing window placements for better natural light, or completely rerouting gas and plumbing lines to facilitate a high-performance floor plan.
Exotic Materials
The design is anchored by book-matched stone backsplashes—where the natural veining of your countertop continues vertically up the wall—and luxury metalwork, such as custom-fabricated zinc or brass range hoods.
The Chef’s Suite
Beyond the main kitchen, we design and build dedicated Chef’s Pantries or "Sculleries." These secondary spaces house additional prep sinks, secondary dishwashers, and specialized storage, allowing the main kitchen to remain a pristine space for entertaining.
